**Objective**As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the Engineering Academy Americas Agenda within our organization. Your expertise will drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technical learning programs that empower our engineering teams to excel and innovate.**Main Responsibilities**- Leadership of Engineering Academy Agenda:- Spearheading the Engineering Academy Americas Agenda, setting a strategic direction for technical learning initiatives across the region.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.- Program Design and Knowledge Management:- Supporting the design and development of technical programs in areas such as PDC, LPDC, Sand Casting, Melting, Assembly, and HSE.- Ensuring proper knowledge management of technical content, making it accessible to relevant stakeholders.- Talent Identification and Accelerate Program:- Identifying high-potential individuals for participation in the Academies, contributing to the development of future technical leaders.- Managing the Accelerate Program and designing innovative Technical Curriculums to enhance engineering capabilities.- Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:- Supporting the development of Nemak's problem-solving capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.- Budget Management and Learning Technologies:- Managing the training budget for the Mexico Region, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.- Identifying and evaluating new learning technologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training processes.**Position Requirements**- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.- Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.- Understanding of engineering principles and technical training methodologies.- Excellent organizational and project management skills.- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to successful completion.- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.- Proficiency in leveraging learning technologies and tools for effective training.- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
