We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Test and Quality Engineer****.****Principal Accountabilities**:- Has a high level of expertise in multiple technical capabilities and competencies such: as cloud, mobile, digital, security, core banking, micro services, capacity.- Has an expertise in process and is considered an authority in multiple areas, such as: disciplined agile software delivery,- Has should work closely with the business people, in the taking, analysis and review of requirements, to define between them a user story and meet the criteria to evaluate a user story that is INVEST (Independent, valuable, estimable, small, testable). So one of the main functions of a Test Engineer should be to try to make sure the user story is fulfilled in all these aspects.- Other tasks that he performs within the Development Team are: create a test plan, manage risks, define acceptance criteria, manage defects and exploratory tests.- An important function in their work is to support developers for the creation and definition of tests, with the techniques we know from TDD (Test Driven Development) and ATDD (Acceptance Test-Driven Development).Requirements**Experience**:- Software Testing using various methods and tools.- Automation with tools as Selenium and Tosca.- Programming languages and databases as Java or Python (desirable)- Agile and SAFE framework experience.- Quality assurance automation ensuring that the test strategy also take into account the test data, environments and non-functional testing.- Work with Ops and Dev Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) and any design related issues are identified during testing.**Skills**:- Know the testing process- Know the agile methodology- Detect risk or project depencies.- Traceability of test cycles.- Designing, automating and executing test strategies and test plans for Products/Services.- Make use of tools to determine the scope of tests taking into account all acceptance criteria.-At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
