Human by nature.**Capex Controlling Analyst, your future opportunity?**- As a Controlling Analyst, you will support the Finance Management by preparing and distributing financial information to functional management and stakeholders, including Group Controlling, Division Controlling, Operations Controlling, Functional Controlling, especially related to the Capex projects.- You'll report to the Finance Director, based in our Pedro Escobedo site working 4 days at the office and 1 day remote.**In this exciting opportunity, you'll**:**Site Support**- Be an interface to Givaudan Financial Services and external/internal auditors.- Assist in the capex annual budget process for the site.- Perform a monthly review of the projects (budget vs actual) and inform the status to the different stakeholders.- Analyse deviations and investigate issues.- Ensure the projects are correctly closed in the accounting, doing the corresponding- capitalization.- Monitor Assets Under Construction in a monthly basis.- Maintain the Fixed Asset database updated.- Support Givaudan Finance Services in resolving issues related to the capex movements.**Inventory Control**- Ensure that the Fixed Assets of the site are in line with the database.- Control the movements of the Fixed Asset (FA retirement, transfers, etc).- Ensure that the Fixed Assets have the corresponding internal number.- Support the external and/or internal audits, internal controls included.- Ensure local standards are accurate.**Cost Analysis**- Manage annual and periodic requirements of costing activities and analysis of COGS- Prepare detailed product costing analysis- Analyse period costs and investigate issues- Analyse process order variances and provide transparency on issues/concerns- Ensure local standards are accurate when compared to actual costs- Update standards where applicable to reduce variances.**Financial Performance Analysis**- Analyse and coordinate activities associated with Capex projects on site.- Prepare monthly data with the status of every project.- Prepare monthly data with the Asset Under Construction information.- Prepare monthly data with the Fixed Asset movements (retirement, transfers, etc) by type of Assets.**Financial Analysis&Reporting**- Support requirements associated with the month-end financial close- Review balance sheet and P&L accounts that may require journal entries, accruals/reserves and reclassifications for the site operations- Support Givaudan Finance Services in the troubleshooting of closing issues- Support with BOFC input for monthly financial Group reporting.**Investment Process**- Support planning and tracking of spending against the capital plan for the site- Coordinate periodic inventory of fixed assets for the site.- Ensure closure of investment projects and subsequent capitalisation of AUC.**You?****Your professional profile includes**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.- 5 years’ experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.- Fluent English.- Knowledge of SAP CO/FI.- Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions)- Working knowledge of costing procedures**We offer the following benefits**:- Annual bonus.- Medical insurance coverage.- Pension Plan.- Onsite lunch facility.- Career Development Opportunities with access to many virtual learning sessions.- Food Coupons- Savings Plan- #LI-Hybrid- At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.You work within an inspiring teamwork culture - where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across disciplines, regions and divisions.Every essence of you enriches our world.Diversity drives innovation and creates closer connections with our employees, customers and partners.Givaudan embraces diversity and is committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone impacts our world.**Remote working**:Hybrid
