Buyer - Thermal & Adaptation

The Fasteners, Mounts, Bushings Buyer will be responsible for negotiating and buying components in support of the Chassis and Adaption Global Purchasing organization. The duties include management of the sourcing process, developing and implementing creative solutions to complex challenges, capacity and cost management, and PO/ contract administration. This includes but is not limited to selecting suppliers, placing purchase orders, managing complex contracts, interfacing with internal and external customers, managing key Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier relationships, and developing strategies.**Requirements**:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance from or equivalent; Other technical degrees with business background also considered3 years of purchasing or closely related relevant experienceNegotiation and/or exposure to sourcing/project management processesOrganized, self-motivated, capable of managing conflict and resourceful managing complex assignmentsStrong communication skills and are highly customer focusedAble to effectively lead cross-functional teamsFluent in MS Office Suite
