**About INEOS Styrolution**:**Current Opportunity**:**Job Title****Buyer -Temporary position-**:***Location****Altamira Site**:**The Position**:The Buyer will report directly to the Project Administrator and will play a key role in providing analytical support to the project team by utilizing SAP and Coupa. The primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely delivery of goods for the project through effective negotiation of purchase orders and contracts with both local and international suppliers. Additionally, the Buyer will ensure that the procurement process in Altamira aligns with the Americas Procurement standards. A key focus will be on achieving competitive pricing across markets, leveraging a strong supplier network. The Buyer will be driven by cost avoidance as a main objective.**What you will do**:**What you will bring**:- **Level of education & knowledge**:- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Management, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.- **Experience in general**:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical/petrochemical industry, with at least 5 years of expertise in negotiation, development, and contract management.- **Technical skills**:- Negotiation and Management of Conflicts.- Planning and Resources Management- Purchase process- SAP System - Purchase Process Intermediate level at least.- Project Management.- Problem solving- Communicate written and spoken and able to negotiate in English- **Competencies, Behavioral skills**:- Strong emphasis on Ethics.- Good communication skills necessary, especially for interaction with external vendors.- Interacts openly and honestly with others across the organization and externally- Knows and complies with laws, rules, policies and procedures.- Result & Customer Orientation- Valuing and Respecting People- _Reliability and Responsibility_**The Location**:This opportunity is located in the Altamira Industrial Corridor, Tam.**We Have Great Chemistry**We believe diversity is perceiving difference; inclusion is valuing it.
