This position will be based in Mexico City, Mexico.- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish (Verbal and Written) is a must.- Experience working with end user or developers communities.- Past experience writing and publishing technical white papers desirable.- Demonstrated knowledge in architecting, deploying, and the operation of Telco solutions. Past experience working directly in Telco implementations is highly desirable.- BA/BS degree desired; Computer Science, Math or Technical background highly desired; working knowledge of software development practices and technologies required. Advanced Degree a plus- Travel to client locations as needed. Estimated 25% travel requirementJob summaryAs a Solutions Architect focused on Telco technologies within Amazon Web Services, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's Web Services across the Telco industry in Latin America. The emphasis being on working directly with customers to develop cloud migration and/or the creation of new services that are strategic to their business objectives.**Roles & Responsibilities**:As a key member of the AWS team working to ensure Telco customer success on the AWS platform, you will act as an ambassador in customer engagements as well as key efforts directly with customer resources and organizations with AWS.**This includes**:- Understand the technical/business requirements of each telco service provider’s business and IT strategy and work closely with the internal AWS development team to guide the direction on how the customer should adopt and take benefit of AWS portfolio- Collaborate with the Telco Account teams on strategic projects.- Represent and Promote AWS within the Telecommunications and Service Provider community.- Contribute to AWS’ strategy and understanding of the Telco Market.- Lead or support technical engagements with the LATAM Telco industry.- Assist Telco partners in designing solutions in customer opportunities.- Capture and share best-practice knowledge for deploying, running and managing Telco solutions on AWS- Ideally certifications around Telco cloud and Netwroking.- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.- Broad knowledge of Telco solutions such as Network Functions Virtualization and Software Defined Networking.- Deep experience with service orchestration.- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services and architecting solutions on AWS a plus.
