Your background in project management and finance acumen will enable you to establish a robust capital planning, execution, and tracking program to ensure the business is making sound investment decisions.**As a Capital Planning Administrator, YOU WILL**:- Review capital requests to ensure adherence to Copeland standards- Assign appropriate approval workflow and process capital requests for approval- Manage, track, and close capital spending projects- Manage Electronics and Controls capital planning process and ensure timely submission of capital plans to Finance- Create capital planning standard work- Create monthly and quarterly capital updates**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS**:- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or finance- Minimum (4) years’ experience in engineering, project management, or finance related role- Basic knowledge of business finance- Must be fluent in English and have good written and oral communication skills**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS**- Previous experience with capital planning including budgeting, execution, and tracking- Understanding of cash flow, net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR)- Project management experience- Data analytics**About our Business Unit**Electronics & Controls, a business unit of Copeland, is headquartered in St. Louis, MO and is an industry leader in home energy management and comfort control.
