Plant Superintendent

Proman | GPO is a Mexican subsidiary of the Swiss-German Holding company Proman, a world leader in the production of methanol and ammonia.

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Plant Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in the industry and possess strong leadership and management skills. As a Plant Superintendent at GPO, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our production facility. Your main duties will include supervising and coordinating all plant processes to ensure high productivity and efficiency. You will also be responsible for reviewing key performance indicators and optimizing processes to achieve optimal results.

• Supervise plant operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Review key performance indicators and implement measures to improve plant performance
• Lead and manage a team of plant operators and maintenance staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations
• Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement and develop plans for optimization
• Participate in the development and implementation of plant policies and procedures
• Work closely with the management team to develop and achieve production targets
• Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment and facilities

• At least 12 years of experience in a similar role in the chemical industry
• Strong knowledge of plant processes and operations
• Proficiency in Spanish and English
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
