**MRP BUYER****Key Responsibilities**:- **Procurement and Sourcing**:- Source and procure electronic components, PCB materials, soldering supplies, and other items required for SMT production.- Identify and evaluate suppliers for quality, reliability, and best pricing through research and industry databases.- Place and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.- **Vendor and Supplier Management**:- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure availability of key components.- Analyze supplier performance and resolve any issues such as quality discrepancies or delivery delays.- Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times to meet the company's cost and production goals.- **Documentation and Reporting**:- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications in accordance with company policies.- Generate regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and spending analysis.- Ensure compliance with internal processes, industry standards, and government regulations.- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:- Work closely with engineering, production, and planning teams to ensure alignment of sourcing to project needs.- Support new product introduction (NPI) by sourcing components for prototypes and first runs.- Provide SMT-specific input in the selection of new equipment or process changes to ensure smooth integration.**Requirements**:- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- **Experience**: 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment.- **Knowledge**:- Strong understanding of electronic components, SMT processes, and related materials.- Familiarity with BOM (Bill of Materials), MRP/ERP systems, and inventory management tools.- Knowledge of component lifecycle management (e.g., EOL issues, obsolescence).- **Skills**:- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software tools.- **Certifications (preferred)**: APICS (CPIM), CPSM, or other supply chain or purchasing certifications.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Prior experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing environment.- Understanding of international logistics and procurement for imported components.- Familiarity with IPC standards and quality control processes for electronic components.Tipo de puesto: Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $11,196.22 - $26,845.99 al mesEscolaridad:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Compras: 2 años (Deseable)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
