Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. With early patents for the “pull chain lamp socket” and “separable plug and receptacle,” Hubbell stepped into an era of creativity, inventing new ways to serve its growing customer base of businesses, manufacturers, utilities and homeowners.Position OverviewThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in all business units. The position creates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization and support change management strategies.**Responsibilities**:- Coordinates HR team mainly in labor relations, communication, engagement activities and recognition programs execution.- Builds and Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.- Participates in weekly staff meetings with respective business units.- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.- Handles law sues by keeping a strong/close contact with company lawyers.- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.- Provides guidance to managerial team in Organizational Talent Review processes.- Performs other related duties as assigned.- Assures HR activities to comply with Quality SystemsSkills and Experience- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Self driven- Business acumen- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient with Microsoft Office- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.EducationBachelors Degree in Business or Other
