**LOCATION**:Apodaca / Nuevo León (MX-NLE), Mexico | **BRAND**: Bendix | **REQUISITION ID**:6132 |** JOB GRADE**:14|** ON-SITE/REMOTE**: On-site**JOB DESCRIPTION**:**Position Summary**:This position is responsible for support of General Ledger, specifically for month end closing, account reconciliations and analysis, and management while requiring intermediate supervision.**Essential Functions**:This position is to process and supervise on the following functions:- Fixed assets and account reconciliations- Monthly journal entries (Capital Asset Accruals, Impairment Accruals etc)- Capital orders, assets under construction, capital budgets, year end processing, tax depreciations, opening/ closing periods and maintaining attributes on existing accounts- Preparation of Mexican Fixed Assets and IFRS 16 Lease Reporting Disclosures- Managing monthly IFRS 16 postings and ensuring lease rent expense accounts are reviewed and all expenses reclassed properly- Prepare Data Capturing Sheet for IFRS 16 lease- Provide and complete Fixed Asset and Lease information required for Mexican Tax Filing.- Accounting for dual spend Intra company projects- Year-end processing- Annual audit**Knowledge**:- Working knowledge of account reconciliations, accounting principles and procedures.**Experience**:- 2-5 years of experience in general accounting within a manufacturing or public accounting environment- SAP or other ERP experience preferred**Skills**:- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)- Able to confidently and efficiently correspond to all levels of management- Advanced independent analytical and problem solving skills- Shows commitment to process improvement**Education**:- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field required- Accounting preferred**Position Requirements**:The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
