We are looking for a talented** Engineer** to join our dynamic team in the process of **Design & Release** of automotive systems & components**YOUR ROLE**:**As Design Release Engineer in this position, you will**:- Interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met.- Work with other functions Design / Releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs.- Own and update Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) - ensure functional objectives, guidelines and corporate requirements are met- Interface with stakeholders at all levels including vehicle teams, HMI, validation, requirement leads, technical specialists, leadership, and develop robust functional designs.- Follow, track and root cause build issues found during pre-production builds, prior to launch of the program and warranty analysis of all the components after the launch.- Coordinate with designers and support teams to ensure all necessary TeamCenter tasks are completed.**YOUR PROFILE**:- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and or MBA from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent).- Experience with automotive components/systems design/development/releasing.- Demonstrated working knowledge of Powertrain / Engine / Transmission operation and components.- Knowledge of CAN/LIN bus and experience with circuit analysis.
