By doing so we touch millions of people's lives every day. _- And we need people like you to make it happen._**_ We empower you to reach your potential with opportunities to make an impact to be proud of - for food, people and the planet._****Job Summary**:The position is based in Polanco, Mexico.Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.**What you will do**:As a Senior Accounting Expert, you will:- Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards (IFRS).- Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements, prepare complex ad hoc information.- Reconcile more complex accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.- Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers.- Drive process improvements and functional KPIs.- Coach less experienced accounting staff.- Super User role.- Independently take discussions about standard and escalated issues with external/internal stakeholders.- Drive internal and external audit.**We believe you have**:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any related fields with emphasis in accounting.- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting following standards (IFRS).- Intermediate or Advanced English language, interested to learn and improve the skill.- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, graphics, macros).- Experience with SAP.- Power BI, Knime or similar will be advantage to have.- Strong verbal and written ability to communicate at all levels and to be able to team work across countries.- Proactive, adaptable, customer focus, team player and organized.**We Offer You**- A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape- A culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible results- An equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusion- Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangementsThis job posting expires on **October 23rd, 2025.**- Diversity, equity, and inclusion is an everyday part of how we work.
