**Profile**:The PD Engineer manufactures prototypes, interprets specifications, supports new product launches, updates component drawings, in addition to making changes to mechanical designs in order to contribute to cost savings for the company.**Knowledge and skills**:- Understand customer requirements and develop concept to meet requirements.- Interface with Global PD, Core, Purchasing and Manufacturing activities.- Manage tests development and pars as necessary.- Provide direction to CAD, CAE and test personnel.- Manage design changes and BOM.- Validate design to customer and Company requirements. Release parts to production in HPLM- Execute and document all required PD VPDS deliverables- Assist manufacturing activities in understanding PV testing and interpretation of results.- Provide risk assessments and PV plans for Manufacturing-driven changes.- Build prototypes as required.**Requirements and Experience**- Mechanical / Electromechanical (Preferable).- Product Design experience in automotive industry.- Bilingual up 80% (speak, read, write).- Strong leadership and teambuilding skills for global engineering cooperation.- Working knowledge and experience with FMEA, DVP&R, Control Plans, TDR’s.- Working knowledge and experience with GD&T, Drawing Release Process in HPLM TCUA, Product Development Cycle, etc.- Tolerance Stack up.- Familiarity with Hanon HPDS process - SCIF, manufacturing and design feasibility analysis, IMDS.- Experience in 8D’s for problems resolution.- Primary interface with CAD to complete drawings/3D.- MS Office Knowledge.- Fluid Transport knowledge a plusTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoHorario:- Turno matutinoPrestaciones:- Caja de ahorro- Servicio de comedorIdioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)
