As a Senior Manager Business Planning & Analysis supporting the Corporate Functions & Operations Team you will perform and analyze financial modeling, economic research, trends and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, actual cost against budget, variance analysis, forecasting and financial planning, and expense comparisons by analyzing profit and loss statements and/or income statements. Prepare reports of findings and recommendations, compile and consolidate financial plans, and provide insights to management. Develop, maintain and establish operational specifications for financial information systems, considering information flow volume, ad‑hoc reporting and analysis. May provide analysis on business development and monitor business performance. In this role a typical day will include: Lead the preparation of detailed financial analysis including profit and loss statements, working capital reports and cost/benefit analysis Support the development of financial forecasts, budgets and long‑term financial planning for the business unit Conduct financial modeling to evaluate the potential impact of corporate transactions, new initiatives or changes in market conditions Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights that guide decision‑making and improve operational performance Manage the month‑end close process collaborating with accounting to ensure accurate accruals and financial reserves Analyze macroeconomic trends (e.g. interest rates, inflation) and assess their implications for the business Review financial performance against benchmarks, providing recommendations for improvements and cost control measures Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, fostering professional growth and team performance WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, corporate finance, finance, economics, engineering or related fields; CPA, CMA or MBA preferred 8 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis roles (local, regional, global) Fluent in spoken and written English Strong written and oral communication skills Excellent analytical skills (including the ability to synthesize, simplify and convey a story with clear messages) Experience working in a multicultural / international environment Problem‑solving mindset with a strong passion for simplification HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON: Opportunity to join a growing early‑stage organization built within a mature, stable global company Friendly working environment and a diverse and highly motivated team Individual career development plan and possible career growth within a newly created account Truly international environment and daily interactions with colleagues and stakeholders from all over the world Attractive benefits & compensation package Flexible hours and remote work possibilities (minimum 3 days per week office‑based) KINDLY SUBMIT YOUR RESUME IN ENGLISH Alcon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
