And we’re just getting started.We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineering Manager. In this role you will be responsible for software development activities for product delivery and \ or customs development teams using sound software engineering principles and established agile methodologies.**What You Will Do**- Manage teams with in-house and outsourced software engineers and software QA engineers working on product features and customs development.- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.- Develop and communicate effectively with customers, professional services, product management, product marketing, customer success, customer support, and other engineering team members regarding all work activities.- Regularly and proactively communicate status, risks, and other issues related to current work under development.- All other duties as assigned.**What Skills & Experience You Should Bring**- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.- Working experience as a Development Manager or similar role will be considered in place of a degree.- 5+ years of Software Development experience; 2+ years of experience in building and leading strong engineering teams- Deep hands-on technical expertise in mobile and web-technologies- Experience managing software teams with short release cycles (weekly releases).- Experience working and/or supporting B2B SaaS products.- Experience hiring and building teams with internal resources and outsourcing firms.- Experience with Microsoft.NET technology stack (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, etc.) is highly desirable.- Experience with general purpose programming languages like C#, VB.NET, Java or JavaScript is a plus.- Experience with Xamarin Forms and Xamarin Native is a plus.- Experience managing or participating in custom development efforts and tracking revenue recognition is a plus.- Experience with agile development practices like TDD, BDD, pair programming and continuous integration.- Experience using tools like Salesforce, JIRA and Confluence.- Ability to guide the development teams toward CI / CD.**About Trimble Mexico**Trimble is expanding in Mexico by setting up a world-class software research & development center to accelerate the delivery of products and services worldwide.
