This role is pivotal for all business lines in Mexico, including Mobility, Delivery, and Financial Services. You will be based in Mexico City and report to the Regulatory and Litigation Lead.Role Responsibilities:- Acting as the labor and employment leader for all DiDi’s business lines, working closely with local leaders and teams to achieve business goals.- Serving as the main point of contact to provide sound legal advice and support on complex labor and employment matters affecting ride-hailing, delivery, and financial services.- Coordinating, tracking, and managing labor claims in collaboration with internal stakeholders, supervising outside counsel, and representing the company in labor disputes, conciliation, or litigation.- Representing the company in union negotiations and collective bargaining agreements, offering strategic counsel on union-related matters, and maintaining constructive relationships with union representatives.- Advising management on employee-related issues such as hiring, termination, policy implementation, disciplinary measures, workplace disputes, and employee relations.- Collaborating with the LatAm Legal team and DiDi’s Legal HQ to identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them in connection with DiDi’s business.Role Qualifications:- A law degree from a recognized Mexican university with strong academic credentials.- At least 7 years of legal experience, with a proven track record in labor, employment law, and litigation.- Comprehensive expertise in the full spectrum of labor and employment law, including employment litigation, collective labor law, and workplace compliance.- Sound business and legal judgment to advise stakeholders effectively.- Entrepreneurial mindset: flexibility, resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to think innovatively.- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with high-performance teams and leaders across business lines.- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.EEO Statement:- We create customer value - We strive to always create valuable experiences for our users in everything we do.
