If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.In this role, you will work closely with the operations teams to provide data and analytical support for Fulfillment Center initiatives, root cause investigation of defects, and will provide support to insure compliance to operational-related SOX requirements. Moreover, analyze data to support Operational Excellence initiatives, dig deep into data to determine root cause of defects, build and maintain decision support tools, and present findings to business partners to drive improvements in Fulfillment Center-wide quality and productivity.Key job responsibilities- Development of data collection processes and data management systems- Maintenance of data integrity (0% error rate)- Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in MS Access and Excel- Charting and graphing of data for reporting purposes- In depth research of defect trends- Data collection and entry as needed- Data mining and problem solvingAbout the teamInclusive team cultureAt Amazon we embrace our differences and we are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- High school or equivalent- 1+ years of data analysis and formula creation in Microsoft Excel experience- 1+ years of experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role and conducting analysis and data mining using Excel- 1+ years’ experience extracting and processing data using SQL.- Demonstrated experience pulling and analyzing data to aid in root cause identification and drive process improvement initiatives across the networkPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with end-to-end project management- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- English proficiency
