More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.Responsibilities & Requirements:- Cost Analysis and Reporting: review and analysis of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.- Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values on a monthly basis.- Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP.- Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Legal/Fiscal local regulations.- Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparationPreferred Experience / Skills:- Extensive Excel 2010 knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)- Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations- Experience with structured ERP, Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.- Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable- Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experienceFlowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
