agency Securities Lending Sr. Trader, will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the lending lifecycle including but not limited to loan closing and servicing coordination, facilitating complex client onboarding, data management, and quality control. The team will be accountable and responsible for operational oversight of the closing and servicing of all loan transactions of the business division being supported to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.**Responsibilities**:- Negotiate fixed income and equity loans with other market participants- Actively manage and maintain a deal closing pipeline of loan transactions- Coordinate and close loan transactions/lifecycle events, capture data, troubleshoot issues/roadblocks, perform quality control- Ensure that quality of data, controls and processes performed meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/expectations.- Prepare closing reports to management on daily and monthly operation- Support in Securities Lending analysis on existing offering to identify innovation opportunities for further product sophistication- Ensuring client satisfaction with Securities Lending programs, implement service reviews- Lead all retaining existing revenues efforts through quality service and cross selling- Maintain regular and open dialogue with clients coordinate and prepare relationship reviews with clients- Developing and executing an effective and comprehensive sales strategy- Actively pursue the completion of follow-up tasks as a result of business requirements- Open communication and information exchange with stake holders- Lead and organize calls with Technology and/or Operations partners to identify solutions, roll out technology enhancements and ensure that client trading requirements are met- Contribute and participate with Product Management on Internal Audit reviews / testing, including business monitoring- Participate in projects to enhance performance and efficiency.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree (Economics-Administrative, Engineering) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience of Banking industry)- ** Valid Figura 3 Certification Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones Bursátiles (AMIB**)- Fluent English and Spanish required- Deep knowledge of the Mexican Financial Market- Experience managing client relationships, regulators, infrastructure and in-off country senior management- Strongly networking skills to develop synergies within Markets teams- Prior experience in equity/ fixed income markets - broker dealers- Performance driven person, self-managed- Transparency and clarity in communication with management, peers and subordinates- Very strong Client Service and communication skills- Very strong ability to achieve results working in teams- Works well collaborating across functional lines- Strong work ethic- Capacity to work under pressure- Individual must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.- Keen attention to detail- Developed analytical and problem-solving abilities- Client relationship and solution skills- Experience working with clients under time constraints to facilitate a transaction or process.- Proven ability to collaborate with team members, Senior management and other business constituents- Critical decision-making capabilities including the ability to identify, escalate, and propose solutions to problems- Ability to multi-task through the practice of strong organizational and time management skills with experience in continuously following-up with various stakeholders- Understanding and awareness of appropriate corporate and regulatory policies in relation to Lending**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree (Economics-Administrative, Engineering) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience of Banking industry)- **Job Family Group**:Institutional Trading- **Job Family**:Trading- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.
