About the Role The Senior UX Designer I leads design strategy for a business or product line and is highly skilled in design tools and methodologies. This role includes informal mentorship and collaboration with other designers. Responsibilities Understand customer use cases and advocate for user needs. Align and inspire cross‑functional teams around customer goals. Create processes to discover customer needs and design options. Coach teams to ensure user‑centered outcomes. Engage customers in product innovation that delivers value and growth. Challenge the status quo constructively and encourage new ideas. Recognize and incorporate contributions from others. Demonstrate mastery of user‑centered design processes and interaction design. Collaborate with UX Researchers to integrate user insights into design. Apply Human Factors Engineering and other UCD methodologies. Manage UCD deliverables and contribute to product strategy. Identify data gaps and collaborate to address them. Use analytics and insights to inform design decisions. Establish key metrics and regularly test designs with users. Iterate based on research and data analysis. Requirements Fluent in English and Spanish. Based in Mexico City with availability for onsite work 2–4 days per week. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 6–8 years of experience in UX design. Strong knowledge of relevant technologies and design tools (e.g., Azure, Storybook, Figma). Expertise in Agile frameworks. Ability to mentor junior designers and collaborate effectively with technical teams. Experience producing designs for multiple platforms.
