At PCA Mexico we are looking for the best talentPrecision Cable Assemblies (PCA) is a World Class Supplier ofwire harnesses, battery cables, and custom wiring solutions.?Position Summary:The Project Engineer is responsible for material & labor cost modeling/analysis of customers’ wire harness and battery cable prints and specifications. Additionally, this position is responsible for new part and assembly board development, engineering change orders, and regular maintenance of part data within the ERP system.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Bill-Of-Materials (BOM’s) and manufacturing work instructions for new and existing products.- Develop cost estimates for new products by reviewing customer prints and specifications.- Recommend cost saving alternatives on existing wire harness and battery cables through the use of component equivalents and commonly used cost effective material.- Review and evaluate electrical schematics to ensure accuracy of wire harness designs.- Expedite and/or fabricate the creation of prototype wire harness and battery cable assemblies. Review capability issues/constraints with production management when needed.- Generate 2-D prints- Maintain part data in the ERP system’s item Master- Coordinate/Facilitate special customer projectsEducation and Professional Requirements:- Electrical Engineering Degree preferred.- 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the Wire Harness Industry.- High degree of professionalism and interpersonal communication skills.- Desire to work in a team environment where innovative ideas are shared and developed- Bilingual: Ability to read, write and speak Spanish preferred.Technical Requirements:- Experience using Pro/Engineer and Autocad or other similar 3D modeling software- Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics, 2-D drawings, engineering specifications and quality standards.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office- Experience with SAP (Business One preferred)**Offer**:Attractive salary, flexible hours, food stamps, SGMM, 30-day Christmas bonus, 8 days of vacation for the first year, savings fund, among others.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $12,306.00 - $28,693.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horas
