The company does business in 64 countries, has 5 divisions and multiple sustainable manufacturing facilities in the US, Mexico, and Spain.The Demand Planner supports the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (S&OP) process through on-going management of demand plans and sales forecasts for the organization. The SIOP Analyst will collaborate with a cross functional team including Sales, Product Management, Planning, Purchasing, Distribution, Operations and Finance to develop a rolling eighteen (18) month Sales forecast. With this forecast, the team will develop a distribution plan, inventory plan and a production plan to optimize business efficiencies. The SIOP Analyst may also be responsible for calculation and management of safety stock, minimum and maximum inventory targets in company distribution centers in the US and Canada.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop the skills to construct demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.- Develop and maintain the demand planning systems to improve forecast accuracy.- Data maintenance and Continuous improvement in demand planning process- Recommend, align, and create consensus forecast and the assumptions monthly based on predictive analytics, strategic segment strategy, sales plan, supply impacts and the historical context- Review statistical forecasts periodically and implement updates to deliver best ongoing modeling as business evolves over time.- Provide forecast updates to management, inventory, and sales teams on regular basis.- Lead monthly review of Sales, Distribution, Inventory and Production plans.- Management and improvement of SIOP metrics (Sales Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Health, etc.)- Understand market dynamics and latest marketing and supply plans (promotions, distribution changes, supply constraints etc.) and make value-added modifications to system forecast.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or similar field is required.- Experience/Training in data analytics and statistics is required- Demand Planning, Forecasting or Planning experience preferred- Proficiency in analytic tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI, and Forecast Pro is required- Ability to critically think, make recommendations and solve in alignment with organizational objectives.- Ability to summarize recommendation at an executive level and influence stakeholders.- Ability to drive change in difficult circumstances- Ability to collaborate horizontally and vertically- Experienced within a remanufacturing company (preferred).- APICS Inventory training or technical certification a plus.- Bilingual Spanish/English fluency strongly preferred.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS- Competitive base salary and annual incentive opportunity (based on prior experience)- Complete insurance coverage - BC/BS medical, dental, vision- 401(k) with company match.EOE/AA Employer/Vet/DisabledThe Company is an equal opportunity employer and is proud of our diverse employee population.
