Renamed multinational Automotive Company is looking for his / her new Global Commodity Buyer.Your new companyRenamed Multinational Automotive Company based in Monterrey.Your new RoleAs Global Commodity Buyer you will manage a spend of 80MM USD for metal commodities, execute annual price negotiations with relevant suppliers around the globe achieving savings, ensure best price on global supply market for all products in the commodity, develop a comprehensive regional and global commodity purchasing strategy with a view to 3 - 5 years, lead global implementation of the commodity strategy with action plans for every region, work closely with supplier quality to monitor and correct all supplier problems, implement VAVE for cost reduction initiatives, develop supplier management, supplier introduction, phase out, compiling supply market intelligence, identifying purchasing risks, opportunities and ensuring data transparency.What you´ll need- Bachelor´s Degree.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing / purchasing for multinational Automotive Companies.- Vast experience implementing sourcing strategies, cost break down analysis, VA/VE and negotiating LTAs for direct commodities / raw materials.- Extensive experience in regional / global negotiations executing cost reduction ideas.- Desirable experience with multisite experience.- Proactivity, teamwork and continuous improvement.- ERP knowledge.- Advanced English.What you´ll get in return70.000 - 80.000 MXN. + Superior Law Benefits Package.**What you need to do now**If this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career. #
