Main responsibilities:Place new purchase orders, confirm them and expedite them as indicated by the priority reports.Ask the supplier for a copy of the packing list and the tracking number when the shipment has been made by the supplier.Request inventory from other companies and/or branches when the shipping date confirmed by the supplier does not avoid component shortages.Request substitute components when the original component will take a long time to arrive at the PCC department.Follow up on the C-Hold report on a daily basis to expedite its components.Support in the clarification of receipt discrepancies to avoid paying for material not received.Maintain discrepancies in purchase orders between the AS400 and SAP systems within the indicators (exception report).Follow up on excess inventory indicators to work on reducing it (Excess Stock report, Quantity of locations with excess stock report),Follow up on the Purchase Orders indicator to review and cancel in order to prevent excess inventory from increasing (PO Review/Cancel).Follow up on the indicator of material on hold either due to low expiration and/or not meeting quality standards (E-Hold stock report, Q-Hold stock report).Follow up on POs with variance in purchase orders (PPV report).Follow up on POs that have problems and consider them as first priority to correct, such as 95s, 96s, 97s, 98s and 99s.- Check that everyone receives Take 5 training on a weekly basis.Medline Industries, LP is an equal opportunity employer.
