Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Designer I - Site Planner, who will provide design support for Ware Malcomb offices.The Architectural Designer I - Site Planner is responsible for assisting in the development and production of site planning concepts by performing zoning code research, coordinating architectural and civil drawings, designing, and reviewing site plans for new and existing land developments. The role requires good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.**Architectural Designer I - Site Planner Requirements**:- 1+ years of experience in the field of Architecture- Will also consider recent graduates who demonstrate strong design skills- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field- Knowledge of computer software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Google Earth, Bluebeam- Ability to research building codes and current local zoning ordinances and regulations- Ability to read drawings regarding site conditions (civil drawings, topography, wetland maps, etc.)- Knowledge of site planning principles and practices (vehicle circulation, land drainage, etc.)- Ability to design and draw site plans (by hand and via CAD)Established in 1972, Ware Malcomb is a contemporary and expanding full service design firm providing professional architecture, planning, interior design, civil engineering, branding and building measurement services to corporate, commercial/residential developer and public/institutional clients throughout the world.With office locations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, the firm specializes in the design of commercial office, corporate, industrial, science & technology, healthcare, retail, auto, public/institutional facilities and renovation projects.Ware Malcomb offers the best of both worlds - a small-office, supportive and nurturing work environment with large company resources and support - providing an amazing opportunity for professional growth.
