Tasks- Procurement of machines and production equipment for different locations / business units within Continental Automotive- Responsible to develop a Regional Supplier strategy for Injection Molding Tools in the Americas region- Match the demand with the strategy together with the category responsible and define the right supplier panel along with the internal customers- Support the definition, implementation and adaptation of global and regional sourcing strategies- Individual completion of negotiations and preparation of contract documents for small to medium sized projects- Identification and communication of contractual risks to the various internal interfaces- Preparation of the necessary documents for the award decision and auditable documentation of the relevant contract and sourcing documents- Evaluation, comparison and selection of strategic suppliers from different aspects, as well as identification of alternative suppliers- Support of risk controlling tasks for existing and potential new suppliers- Establish and maintain the relationship with the strategic suppliers- Support the identification of new technology fields in cooperation with the Industrial Engineering department- Interdisciplinary work on project level in an international business environment**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related- Fluent English (Written and spoken)- 5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.- Strong written and spoken communication skillsAbout usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
