We are currently seeking a self-driven Supplier Quality Engineer with a passion for manufacturing to join our team. This position will support Contract Manufacturing Organization and will report to the Virtual Factory Quality Manager. The position will be responsible for performing root cause analysis and corrective actions related to manufacturing processes and support the transfer of lines or NPIs.
What will you do:
- Support new product introductions, supplier development activities related to manufactured components.
- Lead internal/external customer complaints with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, etc.
- Drive process robustness through PFMEA, process control plans, and poka yoke/jidoka solutions.
- Monitor supplier quality performance at the plant level and report it.
- Lead suppliers process audits.
- Deploy projects to increase productivity and process improvements and utilize digital technology with our contract manufacturers.
- Pilot the qualification of the products (finished goods) through the PPAP process.
- Fluency in English (written and business speaking).
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc).
- At least 1 year of experience in an engineering role.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Self-initiative and proven experience in following up on multiple topics with attention to detail.
- Strong influencing skills and teamwork.
