Make it your story.**:**This position reports to**:R&D Team Lead**Your role and responsibilities**:In this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute routine tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for: - Defines test plans to investigate and solve critical product issues, optimize industrialization processes and verify the compliance of a product according to specific standard. - Defines the details, test sequences, testing methods and procedures, equipment and instrumentation to be used and performs test on all types of products in different testing departments. - Ensures the planning and implementation of test plans assigning the right priority - Analyzes and evaluates test results, prepares test reports in partnership with designers, engineers and quality team and ensures that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed and activities are thoroughly reported. - Proposes improvements in existing test techniques based on experience and knowledge of new trends and equipment. - Assists and supports external certification inspectors during testing activities and train new members of test operations and processes.**Qualifications for the role**:- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro- mechanical, Mechatronics or Robotics.- 2 yrs experience in Electrical testing.- Electrical Diagrams reading.- General knowledge in certification IEC, IEEE.- Mid - Advanced English- Open to national and international travel 30%**What's in it for you?**:- Coaching and mentoring from senior leaders and colleagues- Be yourself: join one or many of our Employee Resource Groups and make a difference- Get motivated by continuous improvement in what we do and how we do it, bring your know-how.**Benefits**:- Paid and Unpaid leave opportunities- Retirement plan- Accident insurance- Life insurance- Wellbeing program- Dental insurance- Flex days- Employee Assistance Program (PAE)- Development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)**More about us**:
