We do this through actionable insights, scalable solutions, and being customer centric. As the People Analytics UI Engineer you are an experienced developer who is excited about building and using data to show the organization “the art of the possible”. You combine technical expertise around data and business focus to help build and maintain scalable solutions to support PayPal. This role will support three People Analytics products that provide scalable insights to managers and employees across PayPal. These are key tools used by more than 8,000 PayPal employees throughout the business, and in this development role, you will partner directly with Cross Functional teams and People Analytics Development team to build and maintain our internal data tools**Job Description**:**In a typical week, you will**- Work with a People Analytics and Functional owners to design & build front-end components for a consistent user experience- Create functional prototypes of design concepts to be presented to stakeholders for feedback- Transform mockups into functional & responsive user experiences- Debug and creatively solve problems to support assigned products- Work in sprints to ensure that projects remain on track for agreed-upon timelines**What Your Background May Look Like**- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Java 8, React, Node.js.- Sound knowledge on Oracle SQL.- Understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies- Comfortable proposing designs, gather feedback from others, build solutions with reusability in mind and documenting / explaining how the solution works.- Experience working effectively in a global or multi-time zone organization- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutionsFor the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.**Our Benefits**:At PayPal, we’re committed to building an equitable and inclusive global economy.
