Job Description:LATAM Application Engineer, Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division, México CityCollaborate with innovative 3Mers around the worldAs Application Engineer, you will play a key role for introduce product portfolio through spec in process with customers in several market segment in the Industrial Tape and Adhesive Division in Mexico region (location Mexico City). In this role you will be able to offer innovative 3M solution to meet customer´s processes needs / product requirement to end users. Main activities will involve product training, demonstration, product validation, value map creation (pencil selling), workshops to leverage new opportunities, etc. It is also required strong team working / collaboration with other people from sales rep, business, manufacturing and quality team. The position requires a person with high level of organization, follow up skills and opportunities management to assure all deliverable be on time.The impact you will make in this role- You will be technical leader to support opened opportunities into Sales Force database. So your pro-active participation will be crucial to get Closed Won opportunities- You will drive all internal tests / reports to support the solution provided by customer. Besides that you will be responsible to validate the solution at customer´s plant- You will implement new tools, videos, demonstration to facilitate customer understanding that 3M is the best option for their need- You will motivate other AE´s by sharing best practices and also contributing with they learning or developmentYour Skills and Expertise- Bachelor degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Material or Chemical are preferable- Minimum experience with customer interaction, product specification in the market.- English advanced level required- Team working / collaboration / ownership / entrepreneurship / engagement and decision maker skills- 100% availability for travels for customer visits in MexicoAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:- It is desirable experience on assembling processes through bonding parts together.
