The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide.The Material Planning Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement and management of raw materials for our organization. This position requires a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.- Manage the timely procurement of raw materials through effective utilization of our systems and direct communication with suppliers to optimize time, costs, and resources.- Establish and maintain material records in SAP in accordance with plant requirements and specifications.- Collaborate closely with the Customer Demand Planner to effectively manage the ramp-up and phase-out of programs.- Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of material shortage risks and supplier over-shipments to mitigate potential disruptions.- Process and oversee Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) in compliance with company policies and procedures.- Implement a robust escalation process for supplier delays to proactively prevent production impacts.- Ensure the accurate and efficient supply of raw materials for production through strategic use of available tools and systems.- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers to optimize the supply chain process.- Implement rigorous control measures for stock levels to minimize item flow time and associated costs.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.- Advanced English.- Experience:- In a related field (materials management, demand planning, or supply chain)- Knowledge:- Excel - Strong- In material planning processes- SAP (highly advantageous)- Skills:- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- Time management and organizational**Additional Information**At AUMOVIO we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
