**Resident **Test Engineer**Principle duties and responsibilities- Factory resident representative for Juniper manufacturing test organization. Factory is located in Jaurez Mexico.- Ensure that manufacturing partner implements test process per Juniper specifications.- Provide mentorship to engineers of manufacturing partner in resolving factory test issues.- Provide effective feedback to factory, drive corrective actions or solutions.- Work multi-functionally with other members from Juniper operations and engineering teams to resolve problems affecting manufacturing test. Provide detailed analysis with sufficient data.- Work with various parts of engineering as required to coordinate troubleshooting and investigative efforts towards finding root-cause.- Conduct reviews of product changes (ECO/MCOs/Deviations etc) and assessment of impact to manufacturing test process.- Supports failure analysis for escalated issues from factory and field (DOA and RMA).- Monitor critical metrics at factories. Drives initiatives to improve the quality of product, test yield, efficiency.- Reduce test cost and ensure customer satisfaction.J **ob specifications**- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, telecommunication or equivalent required.- Minimum 8 years of experience in working with Electronic Manufacturing operations, developing, supervising and sustaining test processes for assemblies and system, ideally with ASIC’s and high speed signals.- Must have solid failure analysis skills.- Understand network technologies and physical interfaces.- Experience working with Linux-based development systems and tools.- Script programming skill is a plus.- Good English communications skills, both verbal and written.- Good problem-solving/analytical skills.- Solid project management skills.- Strong teamwork skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal/influencing skills**Work environmentAdapt schedule/ working hours to effectively liaison between Juniper and worldwide contract manufactures.
