Security Architect II

Make an impact on the future of Internet Security You will work directly with clients to deliver Akamai's solutions. You will be involved with projects from design through implementation, testing and customer sign-off. As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for: Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and implement Akamai security solutions to address customers' security needs Managing and documenting technical issues, responses and requests to ensure information is recorded and updated Being a proactive technical consultant for our customers delivering value with every engagement Collaborating with cross-functional project team to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support the ongoing implementation Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 4 yrs of experience in general security technologies, with High School Diploma/ Bachelor's Diploma or equivalent Be able to demonstrate knowledge of internet fundamentals, DNS and routing, and communication protocols such as HTTP or TCP Be able to analyze customer traffic systems and customize Akamai security solutions to answer customers' security issues. Have knowledge of OWASP, network security products, network/application firewalls, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, server and client-side application architecture Display good understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud native technologies (Microservices, Kubernetes) Have programming (e.g., Perl, Python, JS, Java, GO, eBPF) and automation skills Possess great communication skills including ability to explain complex technical content in English Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
