At HeadQuarters, we believe that finance is the backbone of any successful company. That's why we are seeking an engaging General Ledger Accountant to join our team in the accounting department. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting by maintaining detailed records of all financial transactions. You will verify the accuracy of financial data and reconcile accounts on a regular basis. Additionally, you will provide support for other functions within the accounting department. Join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our global start-up that provides support to US cannabis companies in finance, sales operations, and logistics.Working time for this role will be 9 to 5 PST**Responsibilities**:- Recurring Journal Entries- Month End Journal Entries- Amortization- Fixed Assets- Depreciation- Prepare bank accounts reconciliations.- Maintain fixed asset records and ensure that the depreciation and amortization schedules are accurate.- Assist with monthly closing process and preparation of monthly financial statements.- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of financial records.- Support audit requirements by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.- Collaborate with different departments within the organization to verify the accuracy of financial data.- Other tasks as assigned and appropriate to the resource assigned to this role**Requirements**:- Dimensions use (cost centers/projects) for Journal Entries posting- Intercompany transactions- Inventory Management- Sage Intacct**Benefits**What we guarantee in return for your support:- **Making an Impact**: Thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment where your ideas and initiatives are welcomed and valued.
