Sidel is looking for a Field Service Engineer to perform installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment supplied to customer sites. The candidate must provide technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training, and other after-sales services for Sidel's equipment installed at customer sites. They must also develop a good understanding of customer needs to provide objective advice and ensure customer satisfaction. Your Mission Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer plants based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications. Handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities properly. Prepare Job Progress Charts and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities. Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction. Perform activities in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan rules, and customer rules. Report after-sales opportunities detected on customer sites. Perform technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables. Report to the Installation Site Manager for team site activities. Your Profile Bachelor's degree or technical degree in engineering (+2) and/or equivalent experience. Fluent level of English is required. Specialization in auto-mechanic or aseptic is a plus. Spanish, Italian, and/or French language skills are an advantage. Experience in the beverage/packaging industry is a plus. 2-3 years of experience in field activities. Technical subject matter expertise in Mechanical, Automation (B&R, Siemens, Elau & AB), Electrical, or Aseptic. Availability to travel up to 90% (including international locations). The Field Service Engineer must also have the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods. They must be able to work comfortably in confined spaces, on rooftops, and at heights, using appropriate fall protection and safety equipment. Additionally, they must have manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
