We are committed to delighting customers by sourcing and making quality products for less and providing a simplified and exceptional experience.**What You'll Do**The Bookkeeper supports the US Accounting team with data entry, transaction processing, and ledger updates. This remote role requires accuracy, attention to detail, strong bookkeeping skills, and a high level of integrity. Reporting to the Country Financial Controller, the Bookkeeper plays a key role in maintaining precise financial records.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:- Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable- Allocate cash payments to sales transactions- Reconcile discrepancies or errors identified and communicate accordingly- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for bank reconciliation- Process bank reconciliations across multiple accounts- Provide support for financial reporting and analysis as needed- Adhere to the company’s financial policies and procedures- Prepare monthly financial analysis and reconciliation files- Provide administrative support to accounting functions- Process daily customer refunds upon verification of stock returns and communicate issue resolutions with the customer service teamIdentify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations**What You'll Have**- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field- Relevant certifications (e.g., Xero Certification) a plus- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP is advantageous- Experience with payroll processing and bookkeeping for multiple entities is advantageous- Proficient in accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills- Excellent written communication and attention to detail- Ability to work effectively in a remote environmentProfessional, ethical, and collaborative approach**What We Believe In**Our company values are integral to our culture and success.
