Individualmente somos talentosos, pero juntos somos imparables.**Position summary**:Supports multiple electronic and final assembly focus factories as the SME for design engineering. Responsible for the transition of new product development to production. Support electronic hardware and firmware for use in lighting control devices while promoting best practices and continuous improvement though documentation and development of standard work.**Key tasks and responsibilities**:- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure that designs meet manufacturability and testing criteria and sustain these products in manufacturing- Hardware development and support of existing hardware designs for manufacturability, cost reduction opportunities and quality improvements- Develop and distribute engineering data in the form of Engineering Change Notices, Bills of Material and parts tracking- Support ABS/Lean Transformation as Kaizen team participant and/or leader and completion of post Kaizen activity.- Continuously look for areas of process improvement directed at improving process productivity including quality, purchasing and manufacturing.**Required experience and knowledge**:- 3 to 5 years of experience, test engineering or electronic engineering- Experience in a production environment supporting multiple manufacturing locations- Experience in electronic hardware development with experience in circuit analysis, schematic capture and troubleshooting.- Hands-on experience with soldering, board bring-up and component-level debugging- Strong project management skills - demonstrated ability to take projects from start to finish with mínimal supervision- Minimum of BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering- Familiar with Agile methods including Sprint, Scrum, and Test Driven Development- Prefer experience of Lean principles (Kanban, 8 wastes, 5S, Kaizen, etc.)- Prefer experience with lighting or lighting controls and electronic manufacturing**Travel Requirements**:- 1-20%**Physical Requirements**:- Light work**Iluminamos el camino a un mundo Brillante, Productivo y Conectado
