Make your move, Join us Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to lead the development, integration, and validation of in-vehicle wireless charging systems for mobile devices. This role serves as the primary technical liaison between engineering teams, OEMs, and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication, timely issue resolution, and successful project delivery throughout the lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of project development quality during and after implementation. Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, maintaining clear communication with customers. Act as a technical mentor and primary point of contact for OEM customers and internal teams. Manage OEM design requests, develop APQP plans, and coordinate third‑party solutions. Lead feature development and ensure timely delivery of multiple functional milestones. Plan development activities and manage progress across multiple features and timelines. Support resolution of business, manufacturing, and technical challenges. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Validation, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Quality. Maintain communication with HQ in South Korea and provide program updates. Prepare and release weekly development progress reports to customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive electronics or wireless charging systems development. Knowledge of Qi wireless charging standards, automotive EMC/EMI requirements, and CAN protocols. Strong problem‑solving skills with hands‑on experience in hardware/software integration. Ability to work independently at customer sites and manage multiple technical tasks. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with OEMs, suppliers, and internal teams. Experience with automotive testing tools such as Vector CANoe, oscilloscopes, and thermal analysis tools is a plus. Preferred Skills Familiarity with automotive product development processes (APQP, DFMEA, PPAP). Experience with wireless power transfer (WPT) technologies and charging coil design. Background in automotive software (MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++) for system modeling and simulation. Tier 1 Automotive experience. Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies. Flexibility to work across time zones for international meetings. Experience with vehicle infotainment features and interface technologies.
