We are currently seeking a talented Category Manager- Regional, who wants to join a dynamic and experienced team and take their technical knowledge to the next level in our mission of excellence.**In your new role you will**:- Coordinate regional and cross-divisional structuring of the respective procurement categories- Execute dedicated negotiation on commercial and contractual conditions as well as other tactical procurement activities for significant site projects.- Ensure and kepp optimum balance of cost / functionality for the services to be procured, starting from an early involvement at the the initia demand request.- Identify synergies and opportunities to deliver savings and improvements across the regional sites.- Contribute to and support execution of the procurement strategy for global logistics at Infineon; especially in the area of contract logistics and transportation management for the Americas Region.- Be the account management of key suppliers in the region: conduct regular supplier evaluation, manage escalation and operational topics- Organize/support regular Business Reviews.- Closely collaborate with global category managers in preparation and execution of the category strategy.- Manage deployment of KPI reports and procurement analytics for controlling of the procurement contribution- Additionally, ensure close strategic collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers.Guide, advise and collaborate with local and regional buyersYou are best equipped for this task if you have:- Business Administration degree, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or similar- Minimum of 5-8 years relevant working experience in sourcingand procurement, including strong experience in commercial and contractual negotiations.- Experience especially in dealing with Logistics ServiceProviders, Forwarders, 3PL etc.- Passion for procurement topics- A strong strategic mindset with the ability to identifyopportunities and define improvement measures- Good understanding of the full procurement process, incl,operational procurement, supplier management, and strategic procurement.- Excellent communication and analytical skills- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Power Point and ExcelFluent communicating in English**#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.**As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
