**Description**This position is responsible for managing empty equipment fleet, work the exceptions Worklist, for monitoring of the delayed/late equipment keeping constant communication with internal areas such as CSC, Sales and Marketing, Mechanic, Infrastructure, Transportation and external customers through reports and pipelines, for monitor the fulfillment of the car orders to guarantee accurate registers on the MCS system, for providing to customers accurate and timely information regarding the equipment status through performance reports such as Cars ordered vs Supply, Scheduled Delivery, Lead Time, Late Equipment and Customer Queue time. For supporting on new lease and turn in programs and monitoring overage cars.Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Solves a range of moderately complex problems. Leads projects of limited scope and portions of larger projects. Provides informal guidance to team members with less experience. Contributes to department objectives and outcomes as guided.**Accountabilities**- Verifies and monitoring the delayed/late equipment on the KCSM and/or KCSR network working close with customers, Transportation and Dispatch Center to ensure the prompt movement of the fleet equipment.- Works the exception Worklist and No-waybill list for all empty cars without disposition.- Monitors the customer’s equipment car order making sure to have the accurate registers on the MCS system, and providing accurate information about the equipment status to customers through performance reports such as Cars ordered vs Supply, Scheduled Delivery, Lead Time, Late Equipment and Customer Queue time and Pipelines.- Supports Asset Management on new lease equipment additions and turn in equipment process.- Monitors overage cars timely in order to avoid issues and extra expenses.- Contributes to implement reload strategies of equipment with other railroads in order to be more efficient on the equipment utilization.- Exemplifies KCS Vision, Values, and Culture in each and every interaction with team, clients, and stakeholders.**Required**- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study- Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience**Preferred**- Bilingual - fluidity on writing and conversation.- Effective written and spoken communication skills.- Technologic Information skills.**Working Conditions**- This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
