Purpose Statement: Support Customs and Trade activities for U.S. export/import operational processes and execution for Plexus Electronica S. de R.L. and Plexus International Sales and Logistics entity. Support in the implementation for complying with trade compliance (import and export) regulatory requirements for Mexico.- Key Job Accountabilities:- Subject matter expert for logistics processes and identification of projects to drive improved efficiency through improved costs, better utilization of equipment, mode selection and analysis of alternative routing methods.- Working closely with Logistics Solutions Manager and internal costing group to develop effective logistics quote process for new business opportunities.- Provide value stream mapping and gap analysis for key logistics processes and functional area as part of the opportunity and Logistics Strategy assessment.- Support DOF (Direct Order Fulfillment) and Aftermarket Services AMS projects scoping, EBS integration, logistics design, modeling, implementation.- Additional Accountabilities:- Support activities related to C-TPAT and other accredited trade security programs- Generate reports (CAM, NAFTA, Chapter 98)- Update rework balances, BOM's in CAM and create the Monthly report for AMS and CRG's- Support related compliance audit efforts for import/export for Mexico operations- Support in cross dock reports and follow up goods in 3Pl's -ELP- Close communication with Financial Analysts and Program Managers for customs activities- Support corporate trade initiatives and special projects- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 10%)- Additional duties as assigned- Education/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a High School diploma is required; a High School diploma is preferred.- Three (3) years of related experience is required; Five (5) or more years of related experience is preferred.- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications:- Intermediate Computer Skills- Intermediate Decision making, problem solving Skills- Advanced Verbal and Written Communications Skills- Microsoft Office- Customs Software (Integration Point/Vastera others)- General office equipment and materials- Work Environment:- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform_
