Indirect Tax Specialist

Requisition ID: 41244- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MX**_ Danfoss Mexico_**_ is looking for an experienced _**_Indirect Tax Specialist _**_for our Plant in _**_Apodaca_**_. As Indirect Tax Specialist you will be responsible to _Ensure Indirect Tax Compliance, VAT collection, and statutory/reporting requirements according to Mexican regulations._**Responsibilities**:Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal indirect tax returns.- Manage VAT Refund requests and examinations by regulatory authorities, including responding to inquiries, providing documentation, and representing the organization's interests during the refund process.- Analyze tax implications of business decisions, transactions, and investments to mitigate risks and optimize tax outcomes.- Active collaboration along with Trade Compliance department ensuring cross audits regarding VAT Certification requirements.- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with current requirements- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in tax-related activities. Implement tools, systems, and workflows to streamline tax processes and enhance overall effectiveness.Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations to management based on findings.- Provide guidance and support to finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.- Educate and train internal stakeholders on tax compliance requirements, procedures, and best practices.- Prepare and review financial reports related to tax provisions and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.**Processes & Tools handled in the job**- SAP- Excel- Power BI- Application for Indirect Tax Filings**Background & Skills**:- 2-3 Years Experience in a similar role.- Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting)- Taxes Experience and Knowledge- Advanced English- TaxesJoin our team and help us release the potential of this amazing world.
