We are looking for an AI Engineer to build and operate customer-facing AI systems in the finance and estate planning domain, combining strong ML fundamentals with production-grade engineering. You will maintain and extend existing APIs and lead the development of an LLM-powered chatbot that delivers reliable, high-quality guidance to clients in real-world financial scenarios. Responsibilities: Maintain and evolve customer-facing Python APIs that support financial data extraction and decision-support workflows, with a strong focus on correctness, performance, and production reliability. Lead the development of an LLM-powered chatbot designed to assist clients with finance- and estate-related scenarios, integrating structured and unstructured data sources under strict quality and safety requirements. Own the end-to-end operation of AI-driven systems used in financial contexts, including monitoring, evaluation, and optimization for latency, cost, and robustness under real customer usage. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and international colleagues, working closely with domain experts in finance and estate planning to deliver trustworthy solutions. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. Strong foundation in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, including model training and evaluation, transformers, and embeddings. Advanced Python proficiency, including scientific and ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn) Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic. Production experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent. Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments (Azure, GCP, AWS). 1+ years of experience building, optimizing, and operating Python backend services using Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks, with a focus on latency, memory usage, storage efficiency, and horizontal scalability in production environments. 1+ years of experience designing and deploying chatbot and agent-based systems in production, including prompt design, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-step workflows, observability, and evaluation. Advanced English proficiency (C1 level). Nice to have: Experience with document understanding pipelines, including OCR, computer vision libraries (OpenCV, Pillow, scikit-image), and multimodal LLMs. Prior work with legal or financial documents, both structured and unstructured.
