**Requisition ID**: 57785ABOUT WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION**The team you will be a part of**:- The Finance General team manages the planning and direction of finance process and activities. Activities include the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.**This role in summary**:- ** Perform accounting activities, ensuring that processes are carried out with quality and in accordance with deadlines stipulated, as well as within the standards established by the company and in accordance with current legislation;****Your responsibilities will include**:**Responsible for**:- ** Carrying out the reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts, provisions, reclassifications, entries and preparing the monthly closing of the accounting books, ensuring the accuracy of the information, in order to meet requests from inspection and regulatory bodies;**- **Generate and validate reports and accounting statements (balance sheets, trial balances, etc.);**- ** Analyze and report the main variations and action plans to the Corporate Financial Planning and Controllership areas to advance scenarios and assess impacts on cash;**- ** Carry out service calls from internal customers;**- ** Define and monitor controls, analysis rules and accounting calculation, aligned with the Corporate Accounting area;**- ** Attend internal and external audits.****Minimum requirements**:- **Complete education in accounting, administration, economics or related sciences;**- ** Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point;**- ** Advanced knowledge of English;**- ** Previous experience of 2 years in a position in the Accounting area, in organizations of similar size.****Preferred skills and experiences**:- ** Alignment with Whirlpool’s values;**- ** Ease of communication and interpersonal relationships;**- ** Ability to organize, plan and prioritize demands;**- ** High analytical capacity.**- **Knowledge of the SAP platform;**- ** Proactivity;**- ** Experience in companies operating in Latin America, mainly Argentina and Colombia.****What we offer**:- ** Working hours: 40 hours per week;**- ** Availability required for eventual trips.**Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool CorporationSee what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
