Some of the key responsibilities of the role may include:**Responsibilities**:- Designing, implementing and managing NetApp storage systems including configuration, performance tuning, and capacity planning.- Troubleshooting storage-related issues including performance, connectivity, and data integrity.- Performing regular maintenance activities such as software upgrades, patching, and backup and recovery.- Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans and procedures.- Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of NetApp storage systems with other infrastructure components, such as DBAs, Linux admins, and VMWare admins.- Participating in capacity planning and forecasting activities to ensure that the storage infrastructure can meet future demands.- Keeping up to date with the latest NetApp products and technologies and identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.**Qualifications**:- At least 8 years of experience as a Backup and Storage Group Multi-Skilled Specialist and Admin- Extensive experience with Netapp ONTAP, Storage Grid and E-Series.- Experience with data backup and recovery technologies including NetApp SnapMirror, SnapVault and SnapcCnter, and EMC Networker.- Knowledge of storage protocols such as NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and FCP.- Excellent scripting / automation skills.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other teams and stakeholders.- Familiarity with VMWare, Citrix, Windows, AD.- Experience with multi-Cloud admin and Linux knowledge an asset.- Industry recognized certifications in NetApp are a plus.- Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Benefits of Working in ICON:Our success depends on the quality of our people.
