Engage with Cost Analysis, Engineering, Category Sourcing, Quality, and other related stake holders to design cost savings at an early stage.- Monitor material readiness and manage the shortage with tier 2 suppliers for each trial run builds.- Closely work with factory on CTB report, drive for on-time trial run and MP.- Hold regular meetings in procurement and operation, and drive for result. Create and distribute reports on NPI programs, and present to high level management.- Provide thoughts and innovative strategies for optimizing sourcing effectiveness.- Problem solver and solution explorer.**What You Need**- Bachelor’s Degree.- Be sensitive to product cost.- Working experiences with OEM, IN-HOUSE on complex product or subassembly from project kick-off to mass production.- Mechanical/electrical background is preferred.- Procurement experience is preferred.- Be proactive, assertive, and able to lead and drive discussions to achieve deliverables.- Fluent English (conversational and writing)**What is Nice to Have**- Prior experience in sourcing and negotiating finished goods and services in a consumer electronics or professional environment using strategic category management techniques to achieve results.- Thorough program/project management skills.- Strong skills with: Supplier management, negotiation, contract development/analysis, supplier evaluation, price/cost analysis.- Solid understanding of risk management techniques.- Good financial analysis skills.- 3rd language will be added advantage.
