Alphabet de Mexico (a subsidiary of MSSL Wiring System Inc.), a member of Motherson Group, is a full service system supplier in wiring systems and electrical components located in ChihuahuaWhat you'll do- New Business Awards:- o Review and analyze quotes- o Input new parts into JD Edwards(JDE) as need it- o KITs for new programs- o Analyze Bill of Material (BOM) cost structures- Supplier Quality System Conformance:- o Review and perform assessment purchasing assessment and Supplier Financials as needed- Purchasing- o Identify and submit cost reductions- o Establish Supply Base Operating Guidelines requirements- Business Development:- o New supplier introductions to MWSI- o Long term agreements with suppliers (new and/or current)- Continuous improvement activities (problem resolution):- o Crisis management (internal and external communication ==> meetings) and escalation.- Global Purchasing support:- o Attend and support Global Purchasing meetings- Market trends analysisWhat we offer- Excellent work environment- Benefits exceeding those by law- Continuous learning- Professional development and growthWhat we are looking for- Ability to conduct studies- Evaluate data, and make recommendations and decisions- Prepare and present written or oral reports- Act as Purchasing Agent as assigned- Perform arithmetic calculations- Use common units of measure;- Calculate interest, discounts, and shipping charges- Recognize responsibility and limits of assigned authority- Maintain an effective liaison with vendors, management personnel, and co-workers.
