Load Forecasting Data Scientist

We are currently looking for a talented **Load Forecasting Data Science** to join our team and help us develop advanced forecasting models for electricity demand.**Main Responsibilities**- Design and maintain algorithms to estimate bus-level load using state estimator data.- Review and analyze historical load patterns to identify behavioral trends and anomalies.- Develop bus-level load forecasting systems leveraging historical patterns.- Build and maintain processes to incorporate new loads and adapt to changing load profiles.- Validate and benchmark model outputs against observed data and market results.- Work closely with **data engineers and software developers** to implement scalable, automated data pipelines.- Collaborate with **traders and system analysts** to integrate load forecasts into broader congestion and price forecasting frameworks.**Essential Tools & Skills**- **Statistics & Econometrics**: Multiple & logistic regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, Multicollinearity, variable selection, PCA.- **Time Series / Statistical Modeling**: SARIMA / SARIMAX.- **Machine Learning**: Scikit-learn, PyTorch / TensorFlow; Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, KMeans.- **Data Manipulation & Visualization**: Pandas / Polars, NumPy, SciPy, Statsmodels, Plotly.- **Databases**: SQL and database management.**Nice to have**:- Deep learning for time series: RNN, LSTM.- Visualization libraries: Matplotlib, Seaborn.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Opción a contrato indefinido- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Trabajo desde casaPregunta(s) de postulación:- Do you have experience with ML?Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: remoto híbrido en 06100, Hipódromo, CDMX
