**Data Science Sr. Analyst (or Equivalent for the SFC)** **Location**: CDMX Santa Fe **Job Type**: Full-time **About the Role** The AOR Data Science Team is an internal consultancy supporting Toyota’s finance operations across eight global markets. We develop, monitor, and validate financial models to drive data-based decisions. As a **Data Science Sr. Analyst**, you will collaborate with sales finance companies to solve key business challenges using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and actionable insights. **Key Responsibilities** - Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-driven questions that impact business decisions. - Extract, clean, and analyze data using **SQL and Python** to prepare for modeling and validation. - Develop or validate predictive/prescriptive models (e.g., credit risk, collections, fraud detection) using **machine learning techniques** (regression, tree-based models, time series). - Create clear **data visualizations** (Tableau/Power BI) to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. - Document methodologies and ensure alignment with **model governance** best practices. - Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge-sharing. - Stay updated on industry trends to enhance analytical solutions. **Qualifications** **Education**: - **Bachelor’s degree** in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Econometrics, Engineering, or related field. - **Preferred**: Master’s/PhD in a technical discipline. **Experience**: - **3+ years** in modeling (e.g., credit risk, IFRS9, collections, originations). - Proficiency in **Python, SQL**, and statistical software. - Familiarity with **model validation/governance** practices. **Skills & Traits**: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities. - Proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable to multicultural environments. - Willingness to work **80%+ in-office** with limited travel (
